MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jul 03

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Moderate, rain, lightning
   Mid: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Overcast, Winds Moderate, rain, lightning

Observing Summary:

We had about an hour and half of possible imaging in between the clouds and rain.
This was the night that we lost the mountaintop server because we failed to restart in after one of the lightning shutdowns.
At the end of the night, we had to do another shutdown because of lightning.
