MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Mar 04

Worked for 12 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 0.65 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Good night except for instrument issues (guider and 8k) ...

Observed NGC2403 at the beginning of the night.

Guider wouldn't guide.  Doekkun visited from the 1.3-m to help troubleshoot.
Lost about an hour and a half trying to fix the guider; finally decided to use only the South camera.

Then observed the Bootes field some (a lot) until I realized that in the guiding fun I hadn't changed filters.

Then the DetCom crashed.  Doekkun came to visit again. 
Lost another two hours fixing that.

Finished the night observing Bootes field in correct filter.
