MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 May 27

Worked for 8.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Same program as last night (2 galaxy and one cluster field,
and GRB observations).  Observations went smoothly until
about 20 minutes to start of morning twilight, when the dome 
started rotating in the middle of an exposure.  It rotated
two complete circles in azimuth.  Shutting off the auto dome
enabler stopped it.  When powering it back on with the telescope
at zenith and 'dome home' selected, it rotated back to 320 and 
indeed stopped.  So I think it is ok now.
