MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Nov 06 Observer(s): L. Watson Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS and Retrocam Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1-1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: There were patches of cirrus for the majority of the night. But the seeing was wonderfully better than last night (still not great, but my guide star remained a star and did not become a fuzzy blob during an exposure...horray!). After my lesson with Bob on how to make sure you have a full dewar, CCDS remained at -113 throughout the night. I observed three SDSS supernova, a CV, four CSP supernova, one supernova I observed for typing last night that needed more spectra, the variable star I observed on Friday (this time upon request from M. Wagner), and five lenses. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Nov 7 [7:07:57]
