MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 08

Instrument: CCD + RETROCAM

Worked for 1.5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing ~1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

At the beginning of the night was raining and we opened only
the last couple of hours because there were patchy, fast-moving,
thick clouds all night. The last couple of hours were mostly clear,
but also lost the guiding in a CCDS exposure due to the 
patchy clouds. I obtained the spectrum of a nearby supernova 
and had problems with CCDS when it was writting out files.
