MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 09

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 0.75 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.65 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

We had excellent seeing all night, with a best of 0.65  in the R band!

We noticed that the CCDS spectra started to get a little out of focus in the red, which we tracked down to Sept 29th when the collimator focus was changed from 800 to 910 (See Sept 29 observing report). We changed it back to 830, which gave the most consistant focus across the whole spectrum.
