MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 18 Observer(s): Prieto Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS + RETROCAM Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Winds from 8 UT until . Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing > 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: The night was relatively good, at least much better than last night with the humidity between 30-50%. Did spectroscopy and imaging of faint supernovae while the winds where calm and the seeing was good. The winds started to get stronger at the end of the night (~20 mph) and the seeing was really bad at the end (> 2.5 arcsec), so I decided to close ~2 hours before sunrise. I didn't have problems with the instruments. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Oct 19 [5:13:36]
