MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 26 Observer(s): R.J. Assef, K. Schlesinger Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS, RETROCAM Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Light cloud cover Mid: Seeing 3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Light cloud cover End: Seeing 2-3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Light cloud cover Observing Summary: There was some light cloud cover, but overall the night was quite clear. Despite that, our seeing was not great (around 3 arcsec) during the middle of the night, prompting us to expand the spectrograph slit to 3 arcsec. Later on the seeing improved, and we returned the slit to its minimum size of 2 arcsec. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Oct 27 [5:54:48]
