MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 30 Observer(s): Sebastien Lepine Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: Direct + Echelle Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: A beautiful night with excellent seeing. Very good for parallax. Only a few dispersed cirrus clouds showed up at the end of night. At closing, the north mirror cover petal didn't close with the others right away.
