MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Oct 30

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

A beautiful night with excellent seeing. Very good for parallax.
Only a few dispersed cirrus clouds showed up at the end of night.

At closing, the north mirror cover petal didn't close with the
others right away. It spontaneously closed itself only after 
4-5 minutes.
