MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Apr 11

Worked for 1.5 hours (part of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather from 7 until 4.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds High
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Bad weather basically all night. Opened around 4 AM to some 
clouds and reasonably high winds (~20 mph) which made guiding 
difficult.

Problems: The dome didnt quite make it to  home  again tonight.
Followed the proceedure in the manual and problem was corrected.
Additionally, the dome was quite loud (unusually loud) upon opening.
When the main shutter was about half way retracted, loud  clunking  
noises were heard.
