MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Apr 23

Worked for 6.5 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 7PM until 9PM.
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate, A few thin clouds
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, Clouds on horizon

Observing Summary:

Weather was ok, transparency was nothing to write home about. 
We encountered trouble with the CCD controller communications; see 
the detailed trouble report.
On a positive note, the grounding pattern in the CCD data is
now reduced by about half, thanks to prompt attention by Bob 
and Steven earlier in the day. 
The Dewar also behaved, and didn't warm up.
