MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Apr 26

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Telescope focus behaved well all night.  Had problems with the 
filter wheel, xmis would hang on any request to change
the filter position.  In the dome it sounded as though something
was turning, but after 10 minutes or more nothing would happen.
However, reinitializing xmis would bring it back to a good state
with filter 1 (i), so I worked with that all night.

Generally clear skies though not great seeing early.  In the
early morning the seeing was quite good, about 1'' or less.
