MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Aug 23

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 7 pm until 10 pm.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The beginning of the night was delayed due to clouds, drizzle, 
and a threat of more powerful storms to the east and northwest. 
However, these storms abated, and clear skies prevailed.

The rest of the night was spent taking spectra of CVs, hopefully 
with enough to wrap up a few of the objects as we're switching to 
direct tomorrow.
