MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Aug 26 Observer(s): chris peters Institution(s): dartmouth college Instrument: echelle + 4-in FW Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: After Bob came up and switched the filter wheels, things went quite smoothly tonight. I managed to get all of the observations I needed for my thesis (for now), and got a set of observations for most of the CV parallax targets. Also, seeing was down to about 0.5 arcseconds, so that was a nice surprise! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Aug 27 [5:55:53]
