MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Dec 18

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 4 am  until  6 am.
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Very clear at the start but some clouds moved in the late
morning. Seeing started off around 1 arcsec but got worse
with time.

The TIFKAM has a serious contamination problem (see trouble 
report) which renders it virtually useless for oberving - 
either imaging or spectra.
