MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Jul 05

Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.

Observing Summary:

There was a lot of lightning starting about 7.00pm. Did a 
lightning shutdown.

Things began to clear up at around 10.30pm . I restarted the system
at 11.00pm. Between 11.00pm and midnight it looked as if the sky 
would get clear but clouds began to roll in quickly around midnight.
I decided to shut down early for the night at 2.15 am. 

I will be doing a lightning shut down before going to bed as there is 
storm activity towards the south.
