MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Mar 22

Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather all night.

Observing Summary:

A few storm fronts came over. Carried out Lightning shutdown 
procedure around 16:00. Did a complete system restart around
17:30. Checked Echelle out by taking Bias frame - looked ok.
More thunder around 18:30 - shut down again. Did a minimal
restart to facilitate quick shutdown (only mdm and weather 
computer).  Another lightning shutdown at 00:00 for an hour
Time now 02:10 - humidity 98% and cloudy so calling it a night
Will carry out final lightning shutdown incase of storms 
later on.
