MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 May 21

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from midni until 2:30 .
   Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Clear, Winds High, dust in air 
   End: Clear, Winds High, dust in air

Observing Summary:

First half of the night was good.  
Observed 3 target galaxies and multiple standards, 
for galaxy velocity dispersions.  
Modspec and 2.4m were fine.  

Although the weather station never reported wind speeds 
greater than 16 mph, the wind grew stronger during the 
night.  By 12:30 the wind was probably above 40 and there 
was dust in the air, so I shut down.  The 4 meter reported 
gusts of 50 around midnight.
