MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Sep 04

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from dusk until 22:00.
   Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

At dusk a murky mess lay in ambush in the west, but I opened on 
time and got a short series on a microlensing event (checking 
outside every 10 min), before it set behind the murk.  

Switched to hs2331, which is in eruption for the first time 
ever recorded (!!!!!!!), and by 22:00 the murky mess had 
high-tailed it outa here and those wimps up at Kitt Peak finally 
opened.

Did HS2331 until it was saturated at 0.05 s in B.  Doubted the 
precision of such a short exposure time, but wanted to try.
Moved to one final cv to finish the night.

He showed up at Kitt Peak
