MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Sep 09 Observer(s): Atlee & Eastman Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS + Retrocam Worked for 10.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 1900 until 2200. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Other than some intermittent cloud cover at the beginning of the night, things went very well tonight. We observed eight supernovae, Brad's AGN and Matthias' BL Lac. We had some extra time between the end of our last spectroscopic standard and the time when it was possible to observe the BL Lac, so we also got a single exposure of an additional supernova. We will need to go back to this object tomorrow night. Seeing was especially good once the clouds cleared. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Sep 10 [5:58:28]
