MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2008 Dec 18

Instrument: Direct + Echelle

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 6pm until 2am.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, High humidity
   Mid: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Mostly clear skies but 100% humidity in the evening
(and freezing too). The humidity however dropped
sharply around 2am, enough so that it was safe to open.
Observed until sunrise, with some of the best seeing I've
seen at MDM.
