MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jan 13

Instrument: modspec + echelle CCD

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Clear all night -- could see some cloud far to the east at sunset
and dawn, but nothing overhead.  Seeing started out good but winds
kicked up and it got to be somewhat mediocre toward the end.  
Humidity rose for a while but never got anywhere near limit -- 
the previous night, by contrast, was freakishly dry, with 
RH below 10 percent even in the middle of the night.  Very 
productive, spectroscopy of CVs, no equipment problems.
