MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jan 29

Instrument: Direct/Echelle

Worked for 1.5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 1930 until end.
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Light & Variable, Fog
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Took zeros and flats with both Echelle and Retrocam; had just
enough time to focus on Echelle and acquire first target before
humidity went up over limit. Closed mirror covers but
optimistically left the dome open, until observer went out and
found the dome filled with fog. Then closed up everything.
Humidity remained at 100% until 3 AM, when observers went to bed.
