MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jul 30

Instrument: Modspec + Echelle

Worked for 4 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clouds rolled in around 9pm and never went anywhere.  I shut down
around 10:30pm when the cloud cover was at its worst, then
reopened out of stubborness around 1:30am.  I fought with
cirrus for the remainder of the evening and did manage to sneak
in a few observations of supernovae.
