MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jun 02 Observer(s): McGreer Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Nice observing overall, acquired spectra of a transient and several radio quasars. No significant problems, however, in bias and other low-signal images CCDS shows diagonal striping across the image. I originally thought this was due to the warm weather in the afternoon (~26C), but it persisted throughout the night. I see in the manual this is a known problem so I will just note it here. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Jun 3 [5:02:03]
