MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jun 27

Instrument: Modspec + Echelle CCD

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from start until 0 mst.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Slow-moving monsoon caused a shutdown early in the evening, and it
took its own sweet time clearing out.  Eventually clear patches
began to appear, including a half-hour hole before midnight. After
midnight it got quite usable but with intermittent high cloud, not
too thick.  Seeing also gradually improved.
