MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jun 28

Instrument: Modspec + Echelle CCD

Worked for 3 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 11 PM until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Started off partly cloudy, and had a couple of good hours early
on, but around 11 PM clouds started coming in from the east.  
Satellite images showed a rather chaotic pattern of meandering
clouds over the southwest.  A few fairly substantial sucker holes 
appeared later in the night, and I got a few more spectra, but 
it was rather painful going.

report.
