MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Mar 26 Observer(s): K. Schlesinger Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Weather was a bit cloudier than usual...Just some cirrus clouds so didn't really affect my observations too much. Had problems with the dome at the beginning of the night; even though the azimuth position it thought it was at was correct, it was not lined up with the direction the telescope was pointing. Went through and reset everything, the azimuth, the pointing, the tcs controls, prospero etc. and after that things went fine. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Mar 27 [6:00:39]
