MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 May 15

Instrument: Direct + Echelle

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Looming clouds at sunset, with rain cells to the
east and southwest, but it all cleared out gradually.
Sky was clear at 9:00pm. Opened and observed parallax
targets till morning (mostly cataclysmic variables).
Very comfortable night with almost no wind.
