MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 10

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing .945 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.08 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Chased a fast-moving asteroid for the first half of the night, but 
had some trouble with RA/DEC encoders and dome encoders not responding.
Conditions were mostly clear during the first half.  Around midnight
we stopped observing for ~45 minutes due to cloud cover.  Encoder 
troubles seem to have been resolved by stowing the telescope at the
zenith and parking the dome at its home position, then starting over.
Conditions during the second half of the night saw patchy clouds.
