MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 16 Observer(s): M. Kilic Institution(s): OSU/CfA Instrument: Direct Echelle Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The ambient temperature stayed the same for most of the night, and this resulted in good seeing all night long. The seeing was sub-arcsecond, and it ranged from 0.7 to 1 . The liquid nitrogen hose has a slight leak toward to the top of it. It's nothing important at the moment, but if not fixed, the hole will probably get bigger in a few days and cause problems. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 17 [6:58:38]
