MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 20 Observer(s): L. Watson Institution(s): OSU Instrument: Echelle Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Last night went well. I had no problems with the telescope. There were scattered cirrus throughout the night but they did not cause me too much trouble and I was able to observe my galaxies. I also had a visit from a small furry friend (or foe if he decides to make an attempt at stealing my chocolate). I'm not sure who was more shaken by the encounter. I do know I made the most noise. :-) ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 21 [7:21:42]
