MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 22 Observer(s): L. Watson Institution(s): OSU Instrument: Echelle Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 17:30 until 02:15. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Last night I played hide and seek with my guide stars and lost. There was cirrus until around 9pm, when the clouds got thicker. They were thick enough that I closed, losing about two hours to the clouds. When I opened back up, there were a few more waves of thick clouds, such that I donated about 1/2 - 1 more hours to the clouds. It was quite clear after 2:15am and I may have gathered some useful data...hooray! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Nov 23 [7:25:52]
