MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 23

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

The night started off with only a few cirrus, but they got
thicker soon after sunset.  I think there was always at least
a little bit of cirrus, with occasional patches of thicker 
clouds that stole my guide stars.  I was still able to observe 
all night.

I don't think it is too big of a problem, but maybe it's worth
noting that liquid nitrogen poured out of the dewar for about a 
minute when I moved to an object with HA = -00h45m, 
DEC = -20d13' (airmass = 1.67).  I checked the temperature of 
the instrument for the rest of the night and it seemed fine, 
so I don't think it dumped too much out.
