MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Oct 09

Instrument: Direct + echelle

Worked for 10 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from 4am until .
   Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

Good conditions initially with clear skies and 
excellent seeing. Winds increased in strength however,
and got pretty high after 1am. Seeing degraded 
significantly after 3am. Closed the dome around
4am when high wind gusts started shaking the telescope.
Observed 11 parallax targets total.
