MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Oct 23

Instrument: Modspec and Retrocam

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Nice and calm night with good seeing. Didn't have
any problems with the instruments or telescope. This 
was (I think) the last night using Modspec, tomorrow 
CCDS will be in. Have to say that using the pcguider/DTI 
with faint targets was an  interesting  experience 
(like not seeing the target in the slit most of the 
time and doing hand-guiding), but at the end it worked 
fine I think.
