MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Oct 27

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing >1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

A reasonable night of observing.  Clear skies the entire evening.
A bit windy at first (around 15 mph) with ~1.5 arcsecond seeing.
Seeing improved mid-evening but always remained variable overall.
Conditions worsened toward morning, with seeing blossoming > 2
arcsecond. Various supernovae and supernova remnants were
observed.

No problems with the telescope/instrument. However, the
toggle on the DTI box to switch between  direct  and  digital 
seems less responsive than usual.
