MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Apr 05

Instrument: Direct Echelle

Worked for 8 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

It was cloudy most of the night, though the clouds were patchy and
I was able to get data in between the clouds. However, it became
overcast at 1:30 AM and I closed down the telescope for 45 minutes.
Later, it got workable again. The seeing was around 1.5  for the
first half of the night. After I re-opened the telescope, it
improved to 1.3-1 .
