MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Apr 07 Observer(s): M. Kilic Institution(s): OSU/CfA Instrument: Direct Echelle Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High Observing Summary: Clouds all night. It was overcast at sunset, but got slightly better in an hour. Got windy around midnight. The combination of clouds, wind, and the moon did not help much, but I was still able to observe in between the clouds. I'm not sure how useful the data will be, but I have got some decent images with 0.9arcsecond seeing. The windshake deteriorated the image quality after 1 am. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Apr 8 [5:51:45]
