MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Apr 18

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

I continued taking IR mosaic images of the cluster 3C 295 tonight,
completing for additional fields.  I also got observations
of two standard fields.  I was unable to observe RX J0848.7+4456
due to an equipment problem at the beginning of the night.  The
RA encoders on the telescope stopped responding after taking
twilight flats, and Bob had to drive up from Tucson to fix the
telescope.
