MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Apr 30 Observer(s): Statler, Cotto-Figueroa Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: Direct/Echelle Worked for 10.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Good night of near-Earth asteroid photometry. Bad seeing in the first part of the night gradually improved. Stayed mostly clear despite approaching storm. But extensive cirrus at sunset and sunrise indicates it was never photometric. Some bad behavior in bias levels started appearing at the end of the night; see trouble report. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 May 1 [5:37:18]
