MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Aug 26 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec + echelle CCD Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: A little warmer and breezier than previous nights, and almost perfectly clear. Seeing was mostly good but occasionally a bit muddy, esp. at larger airmasses. The shutter and the dome both behaved themselves. I haven't touched the dome azimuth setting in three nights, and it is still perfect. I heard two mousetraps fire during the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Aug 27 [5:57:24]
