MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Feb 24

Worked for 2 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Bad clouds most of the night, but clearing from time to time
just enough to lure you into trying to observe.  We had to
abort most observations before completion, but managed to get
a couple galaxies and standard stars.  We had one episode of
runaway dome -- it made one 360 degree trek for no obvious
reason but behaved after that. We gave up around 3:30 am.
