MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jan 15

Worked for 14 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Before the moon rose around 11pm, this was one of the 
most beautiful winter dark skies that I can remember.
Photometric all night, and all equipment worked well.
Observed post-starburst and starburst galaxies. 
Tomorrow we will be using the blue-blazed 150 g/mm grating.
