MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jan 15 Observer(s): C. Liu, T. Paglione, N. Hunt-Walker Institution(s): AMNH/CUNY Instrument: CCDS Worked for 14 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Before the moon rose around 11pm, this was one of the most beautiful winter dark skies that I can remember. Photometric all night, and all equipment worked well. Observed post-starburst and starburst galaxies.
