MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 02 Observer(s): John Tobin and Hsin-Fang Chiang Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: TIFKAM Worked for 9.0 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 0400 until 0500. Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We had a pretty good night of observing. The conditions were photometric until about 4am when some clouds started forming to the northwest. We observed several target fields in H and K bands and one field in J band that had H and K from 2 nights ago. During the night the focus for J-band seemed to be about 5-10 units higher than the focus of H,K bands. I hadn't noticed this offset in focus between filters before. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Jun 3 [11:54:35]
