MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 13

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:


Finally, a beautiful night -- photometric with good seeing 
throughout, despite high winds in the afternoon and a mirror
A/C breaker trip yesterday morning.  

The shutter in the modspec definitely started failing -- some
exposures were obviously really under, and others blank (and
others were fine), so I took the shutter out of the spectrograph
and tried to swap it.  See trouble report for details.  I am
able to do most of my observations without a shutter, so 
the repair is not as urgent as for a true show-stopper.
