MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 19 Observer(s): Fesen, Milisavljevic, Parrent Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: CCDS Worked for 6 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 9 until 12. Beg: Overcast, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Clouds and rain in the early evening but it cleared off at 10 pm. Some passing clouds again around midnight; seeing variable but sometimes very good. Overall a fairly productive night despite a slow start. Classified three new supernovae (one SN II and two SN Ia).
