MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 23

Instrument: Direct Echelle

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Partly cloudy most of the night. The clouds were thick at times,
but overall it was a good night. The seeing was 1.4  at the
beginning (I suppose partly due to the difference between the
ambient temperature and the mirror). It improved to 0.8  by the
end of the night.
