MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 24

Instrument: Direct Echelle

Worked for 4 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

There were a few clouds at sunset, but it got cloudy really
quickly. The seeing was 1.9  at the beginning, and it improved
to 1.4  at midnight. It became overcast around midnight. I waited
for about 2 hours to see if the conditions would improve, but it
stayed overcast for the remainder of the night. I closed down
the telescope at 2:30 AM local time.
