MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 27

Instrument: Direct + Echelle

Worked for 5 hours (part of the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Conditions were safe enough to open around 22:30.  It was never really clear. 
Several magnitudes of extinction at times during the night.  Guide star acquisition was
off and on.  I finally had enough of the bad data frames and the chase at 03:30 and closed.
No problems with the telescope or instrument.  TIFKAM and Echelle were filled at 
04:00.
